FAQ's

How much does a visit cost at Advance Physio Waterford?

Is the physio treatment covered by health insurance?

Yes. VHI, LAYA, Irish Life, HSF, and Garda Medical Aid all cover visits. These health insurance providers all have a large number of different policies, so it’s best to check with them directly to see if your specific policy covers treatment. Your visits are covered under the category of CORU Registered Physiotherapy.

Are visits eligible for tax refund?

Yes, this means that you can claim back 20% of your physio costs after the end of the tax year (i.e. from 1st January). To be eligible for this, you must have paid income tax in the year that you had treatment. Alternatively, if you are a dependent not paying income tax (child, OAP), then you can get an income tax payer (parent, son, daughter etc.) to claim this refund on your behalf.
